Highlighting the summer season?s fresh produce, this sangria is a fruity without being too sweet. The basil provides an especially refreshing taste, perfect at any backyard party.
SERVES: 8
PREP TIME: 15 Minutes
COOK TIME: Minutes
Ingredients

1 bottle of Rose wine
1/4 cup sugar
11.5 oz peach nectar
2-3 peaches
1 pint fresh raspberries
1 bunch fresh basil leaves
1/2 cup vodka (optional)
ice cubes

Directions
Step 1  Step 1:
Chill wine and peach nectar. Cut peaches in half, remove pit and cut into 1/2 inch slices. Gently rinse raspberries. Remove basil leaves from the stems.
 
Step 2  Step 2:
Pour cold wine and peach nectar into a 2 quart pitcher. Add sugar and vodka (optional) stir to mix well. Add the peaches slices, whole raspberries and whole basil leaves. Stir gently to mix. Can be made and refrigerated up to two hours prior to serving. Just before serving add ice cubes to the pitcher.
